The Hypervolt can only be paired with one account at a time. If multiple users wish to simultaneously control the Hypervolt and its features, they must have access to the account to which the charger is adopted.
Q. Does the Hypervolt have an ethernet port?
The Hypervolt is equipped with an RJ45 Ethernet port, located inside the device on the main daughterboard. This feature enables the Hypervolt to be directly connected to your router or any internet access point, providing a permanent wired connection.
Q. Why am I getting a network error?
If your Hypervolt is offline or struggling to maintain stable internet connection, you'll encounter a network error on the App. You may also see the LEDs around the outer edges pulse white.
Q: What are the operating temperature limits of the charger?
The Hypervolt charger operates optimally at ambient temperatures up to 40ºC and features thermal protection. If the internal temperature reaches 85ºC, charging pauses and resumes at a reduced 16A rate once it cools to 75ºC. Full-rate charging restarts when the temperature drops to 65ºC or below, for safe operation and longevity of the charger.
Q: Is the Hypervolt Home a single-phase or three-phase charger?
All current generations of the Hypervolt are 7.4kW single-phase. We currently don’t manufacture or supply three-phase models.
Q: I have a plug-in hybrid and a full EV, can I use my Hypervolt to charge both?
Yes, you can use the Hypervolt to charge both a plug-in hybrid and a full EV. Bear in mind that most hybrids have a much lower charging rate capacity.
Q: How much power does the charger use when it’s on standby?
When on standby, the charger consumes minimal power: about 4.2W per hour with LEDs at 0% brightness and approximately 8.4W per hour at 100% brightness.

All Hypervolt chargers are tethered, meaning the charging cable is permanently attached to the unit.
Q: Does the Hypervolt support Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) charging?
No, the Hypervolt Home 3 Pro and previous versions do not support Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) charging.
Q: Can I swap my charging lead cable on my own?
