Connecting to WiFi & Changing Networks

Connect your Hypervolt to WiFi to unlock smart feature. 

Connecting your Hypervolt to WiFi allows you to control the charger via the app, receive updates, and access smart features.

Before You Start

Make sure:

  • You have your WiFi network name (SSID) and password

  • Your WiFi signal is strong at the charger location

  • You are within range (5m) of the charger during setup

  • Your phone bluetooth is enabled.

Important: The charger supports 2.4GHz WiFi networks. 5GHz networks are not supported.

Setup Process

  1. Open the Hypervolt app

  2. Select Settings ->  Charger Settings ->  Network settings.

  3. Select Change Network

  4. Wait while the app locates your charger via Bluetooth.

  5. Select your WiFi network

  6. Enter your WiFi password

  7. Wait for the charger to connect

Once connected, the charger will display the “Network Connected” screen.

    If your WiFi network is set to private, the SSID may not be listed in the 'Select Network' screen. Please check your wi-fi settings.

    Important: If the app is stuck on “Finding your charger”, the BLE signal may be disabled. Reboot the charger by turning off the isolator (RCD or RCBO) for 5 seconds, then switch it back on.
