The Hypervolt Lock
For greater control and protection against unauthorised charging, the app lock provides you peace of mind.
How Charger Lock Works
The Lock feature is controlled through the Hypervolt app and allows you to prevent your charger from being used without your permission.
Please note: The Lock is a software feature only. It does not physically secure the charging cable to your vehicle or the charger to its holster.
When the Lock is enabled, your charger will not start a charging session until it is unlocked via the app. This is useful if your charger is in a shared or accessible location and you want to prevent unauthorised use.
To enable or disable the Lock, open the Hypervolt app and toggle the Lock setting from the home screen.

When locked:

The charger will not start a charging session and plugging in a vehicle will not initiate charging

The app home screen shows the current lock status

The charger LEDs will display a solid orange colour
The lock overrides activation modes (Schedules and Plug and Charge) and all charging modes (Boost, Super-Eco, etc).
If the charger is locked and plugged into a vehicle, the LEDs will flash orange, signaling that a charge is trying to initiate but is prevented due to the lock.
When unlocked:
- Charging can begin as normal based on the selected charging mode
When pending:

Pending means the lock command has been issued but cannot be completed yet.

This occurs when the charger is still plugged into a vehicle. To complete the lock, unplug the charger. Once unplugged, the status will update from Pending to Locked automatically
Lock status is a smart feature within the Hypervolt app. As with all smart features, the charger must be online for changes to take effect in real time.
How to Enable or Disable

Open the Hypervolt app

Go to Charger Settings

Select Lock Charger
-
Toggle the setting on or off
Changes should apply immediately when the charger is online.
